LIFE UNDER WATER

Starfish:

1.      It has the shape of a star.

2.       Starfish cannot swim.

3.      It crawls and climbs.

4.       Starfish has "arms." Most have five, but some have as many as twelve.

 Octopus:

1.      An Octopus is one of the most clever animals in the ocean.

2.      It has eight arms which are called Tentacles.

3.       It can swim very fast with its long tentacles.

4.      It can grab, suck and choke its prey very quickly.

Jellyfish:

1.      Jellyfish are usually poisonous

2.      They come in all different shapes, colours and sizes.

3.      They are usually transparent which means you can see through them.

4.      They can hurt you if they sting you.

5.      They are called jelly fish because their bodies are wobbly like jelly

 Seahorse:

1.      A seahorse is not a horse but is a fish.

2.      It has a long snout shaped mouth.

3.      It lives in warm water.

4.      The male seahorse carries the eggs in it’s pouch. 

 

Oysters:

1.      They are found in deep waters of the sea.

2.       Lovely pearls are formed in some oysters.
